Akkhep, a social awareness based short film was released on March 15 with festivity, which drew a huge response from the viewers on YouTube.
This short film was written and produced by Khaledun Ratul, a 39th batch student of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Government & Politics department while the Director of Jahangirnagar Cine Society (JCS) Nayeem Abir directed it.
The 6 minute, 46 second-long short film got a huge response from the very first day of its release on YouTube channel ‘Art Films’.
About his first time role in this short film, Dr. A K M Shahnawaz said, ‘The story of the film is based on raising public awareness which attracted me very much’.
Professor of JU Archeology department Dr. A K M Shahnawaz, Zobair Tipu, Nazia Ferdoush, Waliullah, Saif Bhuyan and Rabin Khan among the others played role in this film while it was edited by Nayan Mahmood and S I Bablu.
