Actor Alamgir Hossain from Bangladesh was honored with the ‘Nayakkaz Razzak Award’ in Kolkata.The Bengal Film and Television Chamber of Commerce (BFTCC) introduced the award in memory of the legendary film star Razzak.Alamgir received the award in a glittering ceremony at a hotel in Kolkata on Tuesday (May 01) evening. Actress Rituparna and industrialist Sanjay Budhia handed over the award to the renowned actor of Bangladesh.
Indian film actor Soumitra Chatterjee, filmmaker Buddhadev Das Gupta, journalist Dr. Somaa A Chatterjee and film institute Venkatesh Movie also received other category awards. Earlier on August 21 in 2017, the legendary Bangla film actor Razzak passed away in Dhaka at the age of 76.
