Rangamati, May 20 (UNB) – A local Jubo League leader was gunned down by armed terrorists at Naikhongchhora in Rajasthali upazila on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Kya Hla Ching Marma, president of Bangalhalia Ward unit of Jubo League.
Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station, said a gang of terrorist stormed into Chongkla’s house around 11pm and opened fire on him, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police and army men visited the spot.
