Ansar beat Team Handball in Bangabandhu Fed. Cup handball inaugural match

DHAKA – Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence party beat Team Handball Dhaka by 50-15 goals in the inaugural match of the Bangabandhu Federation Cup Handball competition (men’s) that has began from today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.

The winners’ led the first half by 25-10 goals.
Earlier, Orient Bread managing director Mahbub-Uj-Zaman formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.

Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, BHF vice president managing committee’s Chairman Golam Habib, BHF executive member and managing committee’s secretary Selim Mia Babu, were among others, present in the opening ceremony.
BHF vice president Nurul Islam presided over the opening ceremony.

A total of four teams –Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Bandarban District Sports Association and Team handball Dhaka – are taking part in the meet, sponsored by Orient Bread and organised by BHF.BSS
