Badhaai Ho is an out and out entertainer. With a dash of drama, comedy and romance, the film is the perfect blend of having a message and being light on the head. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer has some power-packed performances and that’s the reason why it is off to a perfect start at the box-office. The film hit the theatres yesterday and that worked well for the makers because there was a holiday in a few cities because of Durga Puja celebrations and Dusshera. The film opened to a business of Rs 7.29 crores at the box-office and that is quite impressive for a weekday. Trade analysts suggest that the numbers are only going to get higher during the weekend. This is expected to be Ayushmann’s second big hit of 2018 post AndhaDhun. Well, looks like the actor is ticking off all the right boxes this year.
