BAF aircraft leaves for Maldives with 11 doctors, equipment

A C-130B transport aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka for Maldives on Saturday with daily essentials as souvenir and 11 Bangladeshi doctors who could not join their workplace in Maldives due to coronavirus situation.

The mission consisting of 19 BAF Air crew was led by Air Commodore M A Awal Hossain of the BAF.Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat provided necessary directives to carry out the mission, said Director of ISPR directorate Lt Col Abdullah Ibne Jayed.Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Abul was also present on the occasion.
