Dhaka – Bangladesh team finished runners-up to clinch the silver medal in the Men’s Kho Kho competition of the 13th South Asian Games losing to India by 9-16 points in the final at Kritipur in Nepal on Wednesday.
Bangladesh smartly reached men’s final eliminating hosts Nepal by 24-23 points in the additional innings as the first two innings of the first semifinal ended in tie on Tuesday.
But, Bangladesh Women’s Kho Kho team were eliminated from the race losing to Nepal by an innings and one point.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Women’s Kabaddi team suffered a 25-36 points defeat against hosts Nepal after trailing the first session by 7-13 points in the first match in Kathmandu.Bangladesh Women’s team to play giant India in the second match on Thursday.UNB
