Dhaka – Bangladesh emerged champions in two-day India-Bangladesh Amateur Mixed Marshall Arts (MMA) Fight Night that concluded on Sunday in the Salt Lake city in Kolkata.
Touring Bangladesh team clinched the title beating hosts India by 3-2 in a five-bout friendly competition, organized by Soul of Warriors.
Managing Director of the meet’ sponsor Soul of Warriors and the first Indian Women’s MMA promoter Ritu Chakraborthy was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and later she distributed the prizes among the winners.
After the meet, team leader of the champions Bangladesh team and newly elected general secretary of All Bangladesh National Mixed Marshall Arts Association Habibullah Parvez said, “we emerged champions in our Indian trip and it is our best achievement in the Mujib Borsho”.UNB
