Bangladesh lose Soumya, Mushfiqur

Dhaka – Bangladesh’s chase of 315 against India started to look tough after the Tigers lost the wickets of Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

Soumya failed to play a big innings in spite of settling down in the wicket. He fell prey to Hardik Pandya adding 33 on the board.

Mushfiqur was removed by Yuzvendra Chahal after a brisk 24 off 23.

Before that, Tamim Iqbal failed to impress once again as he fell for 22 off 31.

Tamim tried to drive Mohammad Shami towards the point area but managed an inside edge that shattered his stumps.

Earlier, India put up a big total with the help of the fourth century by Rohit Sharma in this World Cup. Rohit was dropped at 7 by Tamim.

Lokesh Rahul (77) and Rishabh Pant (48) also helped their team post the challenging total.
