Bangladesh reaches Wellington to play final ODI

DHAKA – A dejected Bangladesh team who had already conceded the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, reached Wellington today for the third and final game.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media section informed that the Tigers reached Wellington at 1 PM, Bangladesh Standard Time. They didn’t take part any practice session after their arrival in the city.

Bangladesh will take on New Zealand at Basin Reserve in Wellington on Friday. The match will take place at 4 AM, Bangladesh Standard Time and will be aired live at the Bangladesh Television (BTV), Gazi TV and T-Sports channel.

New Zealand had already won the three-match series, following their eight-wicket and five-wicket victory in the first two matches, leaving Bangladesh still win-less on New Zealand soil.

With those two defeats, Bangladesh’s losing-streak on New Zealand soil stretched to 28 (14 ODIs, 9 Tests and 4 T20Is). After the ODI series, Bangladesh will play three-match T20 International series against the Kiwis.BSS
