Bangladesh youth shot dead by BSF in Lalmonirhat

Dhaka  – A Bangladeshi young man was shot to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Dahagram-Angorpota
bordering area of Patgram upazila in Lalmonirhat district early Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Hazrat Ali,35, son of Amir Hossain, a resident of Baladanga village of the upazila,UNB News Agency Reported.Locals said BSF members from Omorbari camp opened fire to Hajrat while he was crossing into the Indian territory through the border point around 4.30am, leaving him dead on the spot.Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Bazlur Rahman Hayati, commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-15, said, a letter has been sent to the BSF protesting the incident.
