Dhaka-Bangladeshi GM Ziaur Rahman shared the 2nd slot with other 23 players in the 11th International Chess Festival’ 2018, securing four points after the 5th round matches in Bhubaneswar of Odisha in India on Sunday.Bangladeshi FM Taibur Rahman and M Jamal Uddin earned 3 points each, Avik Sarker, Sazzad Kishor and Jodunath Biswas earned 2.5 points each. CM Chanchal Kumer Ghosh, CM Sohel Chowdhury, Md Anisuzzaman Jewel, Mezanur Rahman, Tahsin Tajwar Zia, Sadnan Hasan Dihan and Sohel Rana Pritom bagged 2 points each.
