Dhaka – Old Horse Wari Club managed a 1-0 goal victory against Victoria Sporting Club in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football at the Bir Shreshtho Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here on Monday.
Nokrek scored the match decider for Wari Club in the 39th minute.The day’s other match between Fakirerpool Youngmen’s Club and Swadhinata Krira Sangha ended in 2-2 draw at the same venue.
Sumon put Shadhinata KS ahead in the very 6th minute (1-0) while Akib leveled the margin for Fakirerpool YC in the 69th minute (1-1).
Munna put Fakirerpool YC ahead from behind scoring a goal (2-1) just three minutes later (72nd minute) while Moudud equalised the match again in the 80th minute from a penalty (2-2).
Tuesday’s matches: T&T Club Motijheel vs Agrani Bank SC (1:15 pm), Uttara Baridhara Club vs Soccer Club, Feni (3:15 pm) at Kamalapur Stadium.
