B’desh, take second match, win Test series against Zimbabwe

Bangladesh sealed the three-match Bashundhara Cement Test Series 2-0 against Zimbabwe beating them by 162 runs in the second match at Khulna Stadium here on the final day on Friday.
Chasing a target of 314 runs, the visiting side were all out for 151 runs in 51.1 overs in the second innings. This was Bangladesh’s 6th win in Test cricket. With the series win, Bangladesh is expected to go up in Test ranking.All rounder Shakib Al Hasan stole the show of the Bangladesh win as he entered the record book as the 3rd cricketer after Imran Khan (1983) and Ian Botham (1980) to score a century and claim 10 wickets in a Test match.
Shakib hit 137 runs in the first innings and took 5 wickets for 80 runs against Zimbabwe in the first innings. He also bagged another five in the second innings conceding 44 runs to be adjudged man of the match.
For Zimbabwe, Hamilton Masakadza (61) was the only source of resistance with his second fifty-plus score in the match on 5th day of the Test off 113 balls with five fours and a six.
