Bengal Creative Fest starts today at KIB

Bengal Creative Fest will start today arguably for the first time. The two daylong  event chiefly targeting film professionals will start at 11am at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB), Farmgate in the capital. The fest has been specially designed for creative professionals and individuals planning to work in the creative fields. Six sessions on creative arts will be held today. Abdun Noor Tushar, CEO of the new satellite channel, Nagorik TV will conduct the first session. Then Leena Taposhi Khan, chairman of Department of Music, University of Dhaka and Nisar Husain, dean faculty of fine arts of the same university will talk in the second session on the struggles of life and art. Young filmmaker Nuhash Humayun, and youth’s comedy magazine Unmad’s assistant editor Syed Rashad Imam will take the participants in the following session through the challenges and solutions to a prospective starting journey. Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, actress Mahzabien Chowdhury and singer Elita Karim will conduct the final session on moving from small screen to silver screen.
Two more sessions on creativity and its role in the corporate world will be held today.
