Working Mother magazine exclusively revealed its 50 Most Powerful Moms of the year to PEOPLE and the list – out just in time for Mother’s Day – features some of our favorites, including Beyoncé, Adele, Carrie Underwood and more!
Championing the “Formation” singer for her business savvy, Grammy awards and nominations, and mentoring of young artists for her music label Parkwood Entertainment, Working Mother says of Queen Bey: “There’s no stopping this force of nature – every time she sets a bar, she scale it with her next accomplishment.”
Meanwhile, the mag touts Adele’s top-notch education at the London performing-arts school and her accolades, including 25 becoming the best-selling album of 2015. What’s more endearing is that despite all she’s achieved, in a recent interview with Vogue, Adele said her son is the most fulfilling thing in her life.
“[Angelo] makes me very proud of myself,” the singer told Vogue in February. “When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn’t.”
Among a handful of other Hollywood A-listers are Viola Davis, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Melissa McCarthy and Kerry Washington, who is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, reports AFP.
