The inauguration ceremony on basic course on non-life insurance organized by Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) was held in the city recently. 27 officers from non-life insurance companies participated in the 15th basic course on non-life insurance, says a press release.Sheikh Kabir Hossain, president, BIA inaugurated the course. Kabir in his speech, said that there is vast scope for development of insurance business in the country. He hoped that the officers who took part in the training would be able to perform their duties more efficiently to the benefit of their respective companies.
Ahasanul Islam Titu, Vice-President, BIA, Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Chairman, Meghna Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Nasir A. Choudhury, Member, Executive Committee, BIA AKM Monirul Hoque, Member, Executive Committee and PK Roy, FCA, Member, Executive Committee, BIA were present on the occasion.
