A day-long conference on contemporary Biomedical Research in Bangladesh held Tuesday at Jahir Raihan auditorium of Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.The department of Bio-Chemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) organized the conference collaboration jointly with Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP).
JU Vice Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the programme as chief guest. While addressing on the conference Prof Farzana said ‘I confidently say that the research on Biomedical will help us to concern about health management and prevention of diseases.’
Micro-Biology department of Dhaka University Prof M Anwar Hossain presented the key note paper on the conference which is based on Biomedical research and Health facility of Bangladesh.
Presided by Prof Sabir Hassain, also addressed the programme JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Abul Hossain, Director of the project Gourang Chandro, Acting Dean of Biological faculty Prof Abdul Jabbar Hawlader, Prof Badiyar Rahman of BMB department among others.
