BKSP take absolute supremacy after day-2

Dhaka –BKSP dominated the pool after the 2nd day of the three-day Saif Powertec 33rd National Age Group Swimming and Diving Competition at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in Mirpur on Wednesday.BKSP have secured 36 golds, 44 silvers and 26 bronze medals to dominate the meet. Bangladesh Ansar followed them distanty collecting 19 golds, 13 silvers and 16 bronzes while Issamoti Swimming Club of Pabna are the 3rd slot with nine golds, one silver and two bronzes.

A total of 19 new national records were made in the first two days after eight records were made on the first day (Tuesday).

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ashan Russell will be chief guest at the closing ceremony of the three-day meet Thursday afternoon. Later he will distribute the prizes.

Managing Director of the meet’s sponsor Saif Powertec and Vice President of Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF) Tarafder Mohammad Ruhul Amin will be the special guest at the function to be chaired by BSF President and Chief of Bangladesh Navy Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury. UNB
