DHAKA – Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) accorded a warm reception to the medal winner athletes of the 12th South Asian Games through a formal ceremony this (Tuesday) evening at a local hotel in the city.Finance Minister AMA Muhith addressed the reception ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the prizes while State Minister for Youth and Sports Sri Biren Sikder was present as special guest.
BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza was also present in the function.The Finance Minister hoped that the athletes would able to bring more laurels for the country in future events.Syed Reza said the result in the SA Games would inspire the young athletes, who would work hard to bring more laurels for the country.The SA Games was held on February 5-16 this year in Guwahati and Shilong, India.(BSS)
