Rajshahi, Jan 02 – Rajshahi University has formed a committee to probe an allegation of devaluating a student of Crop-Science department of Rajshahi University (RU) in his answer-script intentionally that showed him to have failed in the examination. The probe has been started against teacher Professor Dr. Ali Azgar of the department.
The decision to institute the probe was made at the 496th Syndicate meeting presided over by the University Vice-chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan.
Professor Dr. Akhter Faruk, Dean of Science Faculty, is the head of the probe committee while Syndicate member Dr. Habibur Rahman and Professor Dr. Rezaul Karim Bakhsi of Economics department are its members. – RU Correspondent
