Dhaka – The ongoing Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football has been postponed from Sept 13 to 30 due to participation of Bangladesh team in the SAFF U-18 Championship billed for September 18-27 in Bhutan.After a recess of at least 18 days, the 9th round of the BPL will begin on October 1 or 2 at the same venue.The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Professional Football League Committee at the federation board room Friday afternoon with committee chairman and BFF senior Vice Preisdent Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.However, the 8th round matches will be held as per schedule from Septmber 10 to 12 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.UNB news agency
