Dhaka – A brick trader was stabbed to death by miscreants in Thanapara area of Gangni upazila in Meherpur early Monday.The deceased was identified as Abul Khayer, 38, son of Muktar Hossain, a resident of the area,UNB news agency reported.Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Gangni Police Station, said a gang of miscreants attacked Khayer and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was returning home riding on a motorcycle from his shop in the area at Sunday night, leaving him critically injured.Later he was rushed to Kushtia Medical College Hospital.As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 4am.A case was filed in this connection.
