Chattogram – Chattogram Journalists Eleven has beaten the touring Syandan Patrika Eleven of Agartala by four runs in a T20 friendly cricket match at the MA Aziz Stadium in the port city on Wednesday.
Batting first, Chattogram Journalists team scored 130 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs with Sumon Goshami scoring the team highest 31 runs.
In reply, visiting Syandan Patrika Eleven were all out for 126 runs to lose the match by four runs.
Later, Sumon Goshami was adjudged man of the match.
President of Chattogram Press Club Alhaj Ali Abbas was chief guest in the match and later he distributed the prizes.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation Syed Shahabuddin Shamim and general secretary of Chattogram Press Club Chowdhury Farid were also present on the occasion.UNB
