Dhaka, May 12 – A combined online admission process for Class XI (session 2019 – 2020) began on Sunday. The admission under nine general and madrasa boards will continue till May 13.
Students who passed Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations can apply for Higher Secondary Certificate college admission via official website www. xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury inaugurated the online admission process at Dhaka board auditorium. The process is expected to involve at least one million of the students, who passed the SSC examination.
He said a decision has been taken made to make university admission process easy like class XI online admission. This plan will be implemented for the students in order to make hassle-free admission within a short time.
In this way, students need not attend the particular university located different districts to get admission costing money and valuable time, he added.
A student can submit at least five and a maximum of 10 choices of colleges to try and gain admission. The admission fee of Tk 150 has been fixed. After completing the admission process, students have to pay the fees via TeleTalk, bKash, SureCash or Grameenphone. – UNB
