The Community Blogers’ Forum on Friday staged a human chiar in front of the Natonal press club.
Members of the forum carried banners with messages urging people to give up smoking and instead take a flower.
Mostafa Kamal Majumder, editor, GreenWatch Dhaka was the chief guest at the function which was also addressed by Iqbal Hossain and Mahmud Hasan Mulkut, among others.The speakers urged the people to give up smoking which contributed to the growth of various disease including cancer.
Chief guest Mostaf Kamal Majumrt urged the law enforcing agencies to enforce the tobacco control law with a view to preventing the habit of smoking at open places, offices and homes. – Greenwatch Report
