Two people who reportedly did not have any symptom of coronavirus tested positive for Covid-19 in Sadar upazila here on Sunday,
With the two, the total number of confirmed cases in the district reached four.
One of the victim is a 28-year-old female garment worker of Laxmipur village while another a 38-year-old man of Laxmiganj village.
Ahsan Kabir Riyad, health and family planning officer of the upazila, said the two returned to the district recently with sound health.
“Although no symptom like those of coronavirus were seen in them, we got their samples tested at Mymenshingh Medical College Hospital and found those positive on Sunday,” he said.
The two will be treated at their houses which have put under lockdown , said the health official.UNB
