Kurigram, Sept 27 – A couple was found dead at a house at Baniakari in Nageshwari Upazilaof Kurigram on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 45 and Rumi Begum, 40 of the village.Local people spotted the bodies lying in their house in the morning and informed police, said Rowshan Kabir, officer-in-charge of Nageshwari Police Station.
Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police suspected that miscreants might have strangled the couple to death sometime at night. – UNB
