Dhaka, Mar 28 :Coronavirus has claimed 35 more lives and infected 3,908 others in past 24 hours until Sunday morning as the virus situation keeps worsening in Bangladesh.With the latest figure, the death toll rose to 8,904, according to a handout of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The fresh cases pushed up the total caseload to 5,95,714, the health authorities confirmed.
The infection rate jumped to 17.65 percent on Sunday from 14.90 percent a day earlier.
However the mortality rate was recorded at 1.4 percent which was 1.5 percent on Sunday, reports UNB.
