Dhaka  – Legends of Rupganj earned the 4th victory in their 6th match of the Dhaka metropolis Premier Division Cricket League beating Prime Doleshwar SC by six wickets at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Thursday.Sent in to bat first, Prime Doleshwar SC were all out for 216 runs in 48.2 overs with number five Sri Lankan batsman Chamara Silva making the match highest 89 runs off 76 balls featuring seven fours and one six.After the dismissal of six wickets for 145 runs, Chamara Silva pairing with number eight Sunzamul Islam scored 67 runs in the 7th
wicket stand to carry the team to 212 runs from 145.One down national coloured batsman Raqibul Hasan (27), Sunzamul Islam
(25), two down Rony Talukder (25), national all rounder Nasir Hossain (14) and skipper Farhad Hossain (14) were the notable batsmen for Prime Doleshwar SC.Abu Haider Rony and Nahidul Islam claimed two wickets each conceding 25 and 52 runs respectively.In reply, Legends of Rupganj reached their target scoring 222 runs for 4 in 46.2 overs featuring 96 runs in the 4th wicket stand by Mosharraf Hossain and Asif Ahmed.Two down Mosharraf Hossain hammered 98-ball 81 runs hitting seven fours and three sixes to be adjudged man of the match.After the departure of top order national batsman Soumya Sarkar for a seven-ball duck, one down Mohammad Mithun (51), number five Asif Ahmed (51) and opener Mizanur Rahman (27) carried the team towards victory in addition to Mosharraf’s 81 runs.Robiual Islam Robi, Nasir Hossain and Sunzamul Islam took one wicket ech conceding 29, 35 and 43 runs respectively.
