Dhaka – Fast off the tracks Chittagong Abahani Ltd secured their third successive victory in 10th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football as they rout Team BJMC by 2-0 margin in the league’s third matchday at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday.After the barren first half, Ctg Abahani’s Nigerian forward Afeez Olawale Oladin broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute by a left footed shot from the box, utilising a cross of substitute midfielder Mansur Amin, 1-0.Ctg Abahani forward Tawhidul Alam Sabuz doubled the lead in the 72nd minute with a left footed shot into the top corner from the six yard box also off a through ball threaded by Mansur Amin from the right side of the box, 2-0.Ctg Abahani got five successive corner opportunities in the last 10 minutes of the first half, but failed to utilise all those chance to break the deadlock.With this victory, defending runners-up Ctg Abahani have collected a perfect nine points from three encounters while winless BJMC have a solitary point with one draw and two losses.UNB news agency
