Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed on Sunday morning after two hours of
disruption due to dense fog.
The BIWTC authorities halted ferry movement on the route at 7 am due to poor visibility caused
by dense fog. The ferry services resumed around 9 am when the fog disappeared.
Mohiuddin, manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Aricha
office, said four ferries remained stranded at Paturia and Daulatdia terminals due to the
