David Warner guides Sixers to 158 against Dynamites

Dhaka – Sylhet Sixers captain David Warner starred with the bat again, hitting 63 off 43 balls, to guide his side post a challenging 158/8 against Dhaka Dynamites on Friday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.Sixers won the toss and opted to bat first. They had a good opening stand with Sabbir Rahman and Liton Das. But both departed for 38.

Liton was dismissed for 27 off 14 balls by Shakib Al Hasan. Andre Russell sent Sabbir back to the pavilion after scoring 11.

In the third wicket stand, Afif Hossain and Warner added 40 runs. Afif failed to utilise his good start as he fell for 19 while facing Andrew Birch. But Warner kept the score afloat with eight fours and one six.

Birch, the South African pacer, who is playing his first match in BPL, took three wickets while Shakib bagged two.UNB
