Deepika to discuss mental health during lockdown

Deepika Padukone has been an active participant in propagating mental health and spreading information about causes, triggers and resolutions about the same. A survivor himself, Deepika started the Live Love Laugh Foundation to encourage people to come forward and share their stories and take help when in need. She’s been acknowledged on international platforms for her efforts in the field.
Taking another step in helping people cope up with the restless times of a lockdown, Deepika announced that she will be doing a live session on Instagram on April 23, at 7:30 pm with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organisation. She also called out for people to send in questions and queries that they might have about how to deal with the unprecedented pandemic and the home-quarantine that it comes with.
Before this, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had done a live session with Dr. Tedros about mental health and raised some important questions and doubts about coping up with the times, reports filmfare.
