Delhi Open Chess: FM Fahad Rahman finishes 128th

Bangladeshi Fide Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Sheikh Russel Memorial SC finished 128th in the 14th Delhi Open International Grandmasters Chess Tournament securing 4.5 points after the 10th and last round matches held in Delhi India on Saturday.In the last round, Fahad beat Kavinda Akila of Sri Lanka.Russian GM Ivan Popov became champion in tie-breaking system securing eight points, GM Czebe Attila of Hungary became runner-up and GM Neverov Valeriy became 3rd collecting eight points each.A total of 200 players from 13 countries including 21 grandmasters, 21 International Masters participated in the event. (UNB)
