Dhaka– Rangpur Division emerged as the new champions in the Development Cup Under-16 Football Tournament beating Dhaka Division by 3-2 goals in tie breaker at Mohammadpur Physical Education College ground on Monday.The final match between two teams was locked in a goalless position in the stipulated time.Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy witnessed the day’s final as the chief guest and later he distributed the prizes. Director of Sports Directorate M Abul Hashem was also present on the occasion.Shehab of Dhaka Division from Tangail District was adjudged the best player of the tournament.Earlier, Rangapur Division eliminated last two times champions Chittagong Division by 1-0 goals in the first semifinal.
