Dhaka-Chittagong freight train service suspended

Dhaka, March 29 – Freight train service between Dhaka and Chattogram remained suspended from Sunday noon as there is no space at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Dhaka for keeping containers. The freight train service was suspended from 12 pm due to the space shortage at the ICD, Mia Jahan, additional director general (operations) of Bangladesh Railway, told UNB.
The operation of freight trains will resume once space at the ICD is available, he said. – UNB
