Directors’ Guild, the organization of television drama makers in Bangladesh is going to honor their own members for the first time. The members of Directors’ Guild are mostly talented actors, drama and film makers.
The organization will honor 36 talented members where all the members and people associated with television drama making and journalists will be present, informed the organizing secretary of Directors’ Guild SM Kamruzzaman Sagar.
About the honor, the secretary general of the organization SA Haque Alik said, “We are trying to honor those members of ours who already received Independence Award, Ekushey Padak and national awards in film. We realized that we should honor these people for their outstanding work for the organization.”
The members who are going to be honored are- Syed Hasan Imam, Tariq Anam Khan, Gazi Rakayet, Nasiruddin Yousuff, Amjad Hossain, Mustafa Monwar, Sara Zaker, Saidul Anam Tutul, M Hamid, Suborna Mustafa, Abdullah al Mamun, Morshedul Islam, Abul Hayat, Golam Sohrab Dodul, Shahidul Haque Khan, Rokeya Prachy, Zahid Hasan, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Nurul Alam Atique, Abu Sayeed, Giasuddin Selim, Syed Wahiduzzaman Diamond, Murad Parvez, Saiful Islam Badal, Masum Aziz, Mahfuz Ahmed, Khalid Mahmood Mithu, Animesh Aich, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Hanif Sanket, Rezanur Rahman, Mamunur Rashid, Mohammed Hossain Jaimy, Redoan Rony, Shahnewaz Kakoli and Riazul Mowla Riju
The honors will be given to these personalities on June 9 at a convention hall of Iskaton Garden in the capital at 4:30pm.
