Disciplined life with balanced food can control diabetes

Health experts have said diabetic patients can keep the disease of diabetes under control by taking balanced food. Another important think are conducting regular physical exercise and maintaining disciplined life.
They expressed the views at the annual general meeting (AGM) of Rangpur Diabetic Samity (RDS) at its office in Radhaballov area of the city on Saturday.
Acting President of RDS Professor Dr Rezaul Haq presided over the meeting participated by its members and life-term members, including endocrinologists, diabetic experts and physicians, social workers and civil society members.

General Secretary of RDS Babu presented annual reports of the organisations and the members participated in the open discussion.
The speakers put importance on strengthening comprehensive social campaign for creating public awareness about the disease to inspire diabetic patients in leading normal life through changed habits.
Professor Farid discussed the present national and global scenario of
the spread of diabetes and forwarded way-outs so that diabetes patients could lead more disciplined, normal and longer life.
Professor Rouf said many people are still not aware of the risks of the silent killer disease of diabetes which gradually destroys the immune system of human body silently leading toward death ultimately.
Putting stress on bringing more dynamism in organisational activities of
RDS, Professor Rezaul Haq urged physicians for inspiring diabetic patients in taking balanced food, conducting regular check up, physical exercise and maintaining disciplined life, reports BSS from Rangpur .
