Dr. Nilufa Islam, Vice President of BWP and Former Director General of WARPO has taken over the position of the Regional Chair of GWP-South Asia to continue the remaining tenure of late Dr. Khondaker Azharul Haq.
Please note that during the 69th Executive Committee (EC) Meeting of BWP on 16 July 2020, the EC nominated Dr. Nilufa Islam for the position of Regional Chair. Further, the Regional Council (RC) Members of GWP-South Asia have endorsed the nomination of Dr. Nilufa Islam as a Regional Chair for the GWP-SAS.
