Dhaka – Bijoy Ekattar Hall emerged champions in the boys group and Shamsunnahar Hall in the girls group in the Dhaka University Inter-Hall Volleyball Championship that concluded on Wednesday at the university central playground.Jagannath Hall finished runners-up in boys group while Ruqayyah Hall runners-up in girls group.Tanusree Devnath of Shamsunnahar Hall and Faruk Ahmed of Bijoy Ekattar Hall became individual champions in the meet.DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique was the chief guest at the day’s closing function and later he distributed the prizes.A total of 17 halls of Dhaka University, including five girls’ halls, took part in the two-week long competition.UNB
