An elderly man was killed as a motorcycle collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in the Anandabazar area of Sadar Upazila on Friday. The deceased was identified as Faizuddin Fakir, 80. Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Kamrul Islam said Faizuddin was going to home on a motorcycle when an auto-rickshaw hit it injuring him severely.
After being taken to the hospital he was declared dead, OC said.
