Dhaka – Hosts Kurmitola Golf Club emerged team event champions in the two-day long 4th Federation Cup Golf Tournament that concluded on Monday (October 21) at the Kurmitola Golf Course in Dhaka Cantonment. Army Golf Club, Maynamoti Golf and Country Club and Rangpur Golf and Country Club finished runners-up jointly in team event of the eleven-team tournament.
Brig Gen Sams Alauddin Ahmed of Rangpur Golf Club emerged men’s individual champion, Mrs Nasreen Haque Boby, also from Rangpur Golf Club emerged women’s individual champions while Master Tasnim Karar of Maynamoti Golf Club clinched junior title of the meet.
Commandant of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Major General M Wahid-uz-Zaman was the chief guest on Monday’s closing ceremony and later distributed the prizes.UNB
