Ferdous again pairs with Indian actress Rituparna Sengupta in a Kolkata film titled ‘Akarshon’, directed by Debraj Sinha.In this connection Ferdous spent a week for hooting in Kolkata last month. Returning home the hero said about the film and many good words about the Indian actress with New Age.
‘Ritu is one of my favourite actresses, my intimate friend, and, above all, a good person with a good conscience,’ evaluating Ritu’s personality Fedous said.
‘She is a professional and never compromises with acting. But, she can sacrifice a lot when someone seeks help,’ he added.
Ferdaus further claimed that the Indian actress helped him a lot to develop as an actor at the initial stage of his career in Kolkata. ‘I have learnt many things on acting from her.’ ‘Still I take preparation seriously before any shooting with the skilled actress,’ Ferdaus added.
About the latest film Akarshan starred by the popular duo in Kolkata, Ferdaus said, ‘The storyline of the film is different from the popular chemistry of depicting typical social crisis or love story.
I believe the audience will get a different taste watching the film that focuses on the dilemma and frustration of a person in the contemporary corporate world.’
Since their first appearance as the duo in Suvas Sen’s blockbuster ‘Ostad’ in 2000, they have appeared in a number Kolkata based films such as ‘Suorani Duorani’, ‘Mon Jare Chay’, ‘Premer Protidaan’, ‘Tumi Jodi Amar Hote’, ‘Comeback’ ‘Jiboner Charkon’, ‘Jonom Jonomer Sathi’, ‘Phul Ar Pathor’, Protihingsha’.
It needs to be mentioned that the duo appeared only in one Dhallywood film ‘Ek Cup Cha’, produced by Ferdous.
