First biopic of Razzak to be aired on Channel i

Razzak, fondly called ‘Nayak Raj’, made tremendous contributions to Bangla cinema, and won the hearts of millions over the years. The National Award-winning actor has also earned fame as director. He lived an illustrious life like a real life hero.The first ever biopic on this legendary hero is being produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd and directed by noted media personality, founding Director of Impress Telefilm Ltd. and Head of News of Channel i, Shykh Seraj.
Titled ‘Rajadheeraj Razzak’ the biopic will go on air on the 17th of August, Friday on Channel i at 3:30pm. It will be aired marking the coming August 21, the first death anniversary of Nayak Raj Razzak.
The 90-minute biopic contains exclusive interviews of Razzak, his unseen photographs and interviews of his friends, colleagues and family members. Suchonda, Kabori, Bobita and many other silver screen celebrities shared their precious and unpublicized memories about Razzak with Shykh Seraj, Shykh Seraj also visited Razzak’s birthplace in West Bengal, India and gathered rare information on Razzak and interviewed people who used to know him in his childhood.
The biopic is expected to be released at movie theatres. Moreover, this exceptional video document will be archived at the Bangladesh Film Archive.
