Four doctors and a staffer of Lohagara Upazila Health Complex were diagnosed with coronavirus on Wednesday morning.
Civil Surgeon Dr Md Abdul Momen said they sent the samples of eight people for coronavirus test on Tuesday and five of them were found positive.
Following the result, local administration put the entire upazila under lockdown to avoid further transmission of coronavirus in the community, the official added.So far, the upazila has confirmed six coronavirus cases.
