Dhaka – Bangladesh Krira Sikkha Protishtan (BKSP) earned two gold, one silver and three bronze medals in the Friendship Judo Tournament concluded in the Bhutanese capital Thimphu recently.Apart from BKSP, the participants of Nepal and hosts Bhutan also took part in the meet.Kya Kya Marma clinched the gold medal in the -55 Kgs category while Da Sai Sing Chowdhury Kanta won the gold medal in -63 kgs weight category.Tahmida Tabassum Toma Jerin earned the silver medal in the -57 kgs weight category.Besides, Aqib, Priyanka and Shariful bagged one bronze medal each for BKSP.BKSP Judo team made a courtesy call on Director General of BKSP Brig Gen M Shamsur Rahman on Sunday after returning home from Bhutan on Saturday.BKSP Deputy Director (Training) Shamima Sattar Mimo, BKSP Head of the Department of Judo Abu Bakkar Siddique and team coach Farhana Halim were also present on the occasion.UNB news agency
