Hannan Shah admitted to CMH in critical condition

Dhaka-BNP Standing Committee Member Brig Gen (Retd) ASM Hannan Shah has been admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka Cantonment yesterday in a critical condition.“As he (Hannan Shah) felt seriously ill at around 9:00am he was rushed to the CMH whee he was admitted. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital,” said his assistant private secretary Mohammed Shajahan Siraj.
In a statement, he said family members of Hannan Shah sought blessings from all for his early recovery.
Meanwhile, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan told reporters that Hannan Shah was put on life support at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) as he was taken to the CMH after he complained of acute chest pain.
Sources said the 77-year-old former army officer was feeling unwell for the last few days.
Hannan Shah was a Cabinet member in the BNP’s government from 1991.-STAFF REPORTER
