Dhaka – Bangladesh Hockey Players Welfare Association wished Bangladesh Women’s Hockey team a good luck over their maiden participation in the Women’s Junior (U-21) AHF Cup Hockey Qualifiers scheduled to be held from September 9–15 in Singapore.
Bangladesh Women’s Hockey team will leave Dhaka for Singapore on Wednesday morning at 8:20am. The leaders of Hockey players Welfare Association came up with the commendation at a function in the capital on Tuesday.
President of Hockey Players Welfare Association (HPWA) Russel Khan Bappi, General Secretary Ariful Haque Prince, former national hockey player Pratap Sankar Hazra, Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) Joint Secretary Kamrul Islam Kismat, Treasurer Hazi Mohammad Humayan and EC member Khawja Taher Latif Munna were present at the function.
The association leaders received the players with bouquet, offered them sweets and advised the women’s players not to lose the match before the game. UNB
