Dhaka: The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations of 2016 will simultaneously be published on Thursday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with the chairmen of all the education boards will hand over the copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban at 10:30am, said Education Ministry senior information officer M Saifullah. UNB News Agency Reported.Later, the minister will formally announce the results at a press conference at his ministry at 1:00pm.
Shortly after the minister’s press conference, the results will be available at the education boards’ website www.educationboard.gov.bd.
The examinees also can collect their results from their educational institutions, respective examination centres and cellphones through SMS.
A total of 12,18,628 examinees from 8,533 educational institutions under eight general education boards, Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board sat for the examinations that began on April 3. Of them, 654,114 are boys while 564,514 girls.
